jar order loading

Postby Marco R. » Mon Oct 07, 2013 10:59 am

Hi all,

I've to choose the order in wich the Servoy Developer loads the plugin's jar.

Here the scenario:
I've made a servoy plugins that is using some jars.
These jars have a problem: the import order.

For example I have these third-part jars:
donald.jar
donald-fx.jar

The problem is that I have to load "donald-fx.jar" before "donald.jar".

Into the "Java" view of servoy I can easly avoid this problem because I can pilot the build-path. (tested and working)
Into my servoy-application-server I can avoid this problem because I have the jnlp that loads the jars
as I've inserted them in it (tested and working).

Now I'm looking for a way to do the same into Servoy Developer.

Thanks in advance

this is not directly possible, maybe if you throw the jar that has to be done first in a sub dir that is the first in the dir listing (not sure if that is on alphabet or on creation date or just random..)

but why does a jar needs to load first? A jar doesn't by itself doesn't do much. Is it because the first jar overrides classes of the second?
