Hi,
Version R2 2.2.1rc-build 330 uses a java-1.5-only method: StringBuffer.append(CharSequence) which throws a NoSuchMethodError on 1.4 clients.
Just noticed while using one of our machines that hasn’t been updated and thought you’d like to know.

Version R2 2.2.1rc-build 330 is the version that the beta updater provided to us today (9/1/05). This version causes an error on 1.4. If rc2 is a later version than above it does not appear to be the one that is currently being distributed.
It is distributed.
Go to help, click check for updates (or something like this, I don’t have Servoy running at the moment). Servoy will start checking. It might say it didn’t find anything but then you have to check ‘check for beta versions’ and check again.
