# application.closeSolution('another\_solution') question

I try to open another solution using application.closeSolution(‘another\_solution’), but it seems that this is not working in Servoy 5 debug client.  
Are there any tips (or restrictions) on how to do this with debug client in Servoy 5?

Servoy 5.0.1 - build 861  
Java 1.6.0\_17  
Mac OS X 10.6.2

You are right. It doesn’t work in debug client - while developing you can only open the active solution inside clients.

that will not change for now  
Its the same as in the Smart client, only the current activated solution can be loaded.
