# Barcode Reader problem

When using our Barcode Reader to find items in our Servoy
database, it sometimes enters the wrong data / misreads the barcode.
eg
9784063646641
sometimes gets “zapped” in as
97840683646641
This only happens in Servoy,
so it’s not the barcode reader
and I think it’s only started since we started using
Intel Macs.
The problem didn’t happen on the G5 Macs.
Any ideas?

On the scanner I tried adjusting the
“character inter delay time”
and it has reduced the errors.
But it still sometimes gives an error.
But only in Servoy.
All other apps are fine with the scanner.

Hi, we are using various barcode scanners with our system scanning both ISBN10 and ISBN13 without any similar problem.
