# Can't import solution

Running Servoy Server 4.1 build 651on Mac OSX.

Can’t import my solution. If I uncheck ‘overwrite styles’ it complains that ‘style smart\_trash already exists’, and if I DO check ‘overwrite styles’ it hangs while ‘deleting style smart\_trash’.

I imagine if I do a clean import it will work, but I’d like to avoid that if possible because I’d like to be able to go back to the current release if necessary.

On a related topic - is it possible under 4.1 to delete just the most recent release of a solution the way it was under 3.5?

Please add a case to the Support System for this:

Can you have a look in the server log? You may see an exception that happens when trying to delete the style.

There was nothing in the log.

Let me explain what I had done just prior to this, in case it helps.

I develop in one repository and deploy to a production repository. I wanted to deploy a ‘test’ version of my solution for some users to try while others stayed on the current version. So I did a clean import of my solution, calling it ‘Test’. When I first tried to import it said ‘style smart\_trash already exists, import failed’. So I told it to overwrite styles. The import worked, but now I have the problem I’ve described, where I can no longer do regular imports of the solution.

Perhaps I did something wrong, but if not, please let me know and I will submit a case with the repository and the solution attached.

You already had your solution in that repository and then imported a test version (the same sol. but with some changes and renamed). After this new imports of the initial solution won’t work. Am I correct?  
I think you should create a case so we can have a look at what happens.
