# Can't import version of a solution

I am trying to import a new version of a solution onto the Server and I keep getting

“com.servoy.j2db.persistence.RepositoryException: com.servoy.j2db.persistence.RepositoryException: There is already a solution with the name ”

I changed the name of the file but am still getting the same problem.

Hi MerMer,

What process have you gone through to create your new release ?

The exception points to the fact that there may be no versioning history contained in the solution so therefore it only matches it with the current solution name and reports that it cannot overwrite it !
