Planning to change webhosts and will be moving from Red Hat Linux to CentOS Linux (AMD AMD XP 2400 with 2 gig of Memory). Though I am uncertain whether I will use Application server on this machine, do you have any comments about CentOS or the processing power? AMD is supposed to do well with MySQL.

Don’t worry about processing power, I’m running on a dual P3 1000 mysql and servoy server (17 concurrent users) without any problems, the only thing to look out is what glibc is installed if you also want to run java webstart on the server (maybe client testing purposes but I don’t think since you’re talking of a remote ISP server, right?) for the rest a linux distrib or the other doesn’t matter, I’m currently running on Suse but I tried also Gentoo and RedHat.
