# Dangerous error in i18n editor

Hi All

We just lost quite a few i18n entries ![:-(]( "Sad") What happened?

If one sorts to the default column in the i18n editor and delets an entry, NOT the selected entry is deleted, but another one (randomly, I don’t know).

You can see it this way:

1. Sort to the column default
2. Select an entry (record)
3. Press the delete button
4. The dialog “Deleting a i18n key” appears. Look at the the selected record now, it’s NOT the previously selected record but another one!!

Of course Press the No button of the dialog as you wouldn’t want this record to be deleted.

If one sorts the key column and selects various records in a sequence, the benaviour goes back to normal.

I’m just about to spend quite some time on i18n… ![:)]( "Smile")

This is the PERFECT forum netiquette IMHO: the bug to the tracking system and a warning to other developers on the forum.
