Now wouldn’t it be nice to go directly to define fields when in Browse mode?
Now you have to go first to layout mode and only then you can go to the defini field part.

The problem is renaming a global or deleting a column when being in browse mode couses trouble icw generated sql.
if you’d go to define field…it would automatically go into layout-mode first and then define field?? Would that solve the problem??
Yes possible, but that seems strange application behaviour to me…
yeah well…I come from Filemaker…and I’m used to it…I guess…
It saves me time, if I wanna go directly to define fields…instead of going first to layout mode…and then to define fields… I’m a shortcut kinda guy
