Hi,
I just could not withold this from you.
I have been struggeling with version control of my documentation for quite some time now. Didn’t find a (affordable) solution for it that really worked like I would like until…
This week.
I stumbled onto Versomatic. It integrateds with the OS X finder and Windows Navigator tightly. Just before saving a document Versomatic writes a copy of the document to its repository as a read-only document.
When you righ-click the document all versions (as you wish) are shown and you can open any one of them.
You don’t notice it is there until you need it…
It is cheap and it works. For OS X it is still in beta but very few things are not yet implemented.
Of course there are better systems one can think of but… This seems to become the one I like
