I have a feeling that this is trivial, but I am stuck.
I need to display a subset of records on a remote terminal, unattended, in kiosk mode.
How do I keep the subset current by means of filtering and sorting after records have been added, deleted and/or changed.
Do I use a relation, or do I catch an event which runs a method?
We have a similar situation.
in the beginning we trusted the auto-broadcasting of new records of Servoy.
But half the day, in some strange way, the auto-broadcast did not work anymore.
We could’nt fix what the real problem was. (bad firewall? router? lost connection?)
So we switched to a scheduler, that refreshes the screen every 30 seconds.
Works like a charm!
