Hi Folks - I have a basic form with a valuelist on a column, showing two values (primary and lookup value with a spacer).
I can use Form Find (i.e. button that enters find mode) enter a value (5 say) in this column and click my Search button (again a Form Search rather than me implementing this in code) and the records located are displayed.
Where I want to search a range of records say 5…6 the search fails completely and shows all records again.The range search works fine when I remove the valuelist.

Yeah - I recognise that’s how its working currently - but its a shame that for the ease-of-use of seeing two columns you must lose the utility of range searches!
so you are saying if you have a integer field with a valuelist lets say personid → personname
and when you go in find you cant type 5…10 to get the persons with the id between 5 and 10?

Thats right Johan - that does not work - it actually brings back all records starting at 1?
