how do you get rounded buttons on the mac

Hi

I’m struggling to get the Mac style rounded lozenge-style buttons in my solution. I’m running on a Mac (obviously) with the default LAF, but no matter what I do to the size and settings of my buttons, they’re always square-edged.

And yet I see the rounded buttons in solutions that others have created.

How do you do it?

Hi Sham,

The Mac OS LAF will show normal pushbuttons when you set the height from 26 to 29 pixels and keep the margin property set to default.
1 to 22 pixels will give you a square bevelbutton and any other size will give you the rounded bevelbutton.

Aha! That must be part of the big thick book of Apple GUI design that I haven’t gotten round to reading yet.
