I was having some trouble in another thread and while working on it I came accross another problem that belongs in this part of the forums.
I have an existing tab panel with three tabs on it. The problem is that one of the tabs has an incorrect relationship applied to it at its creation. I didn’t notice it until later.
How do I change the relation assignned to this tab without having to delete the tab and readd another tab with the new relation to the tab panel?
Sorry raymanj but what is the problem with the delete/readd procedure…it is just a few clicks procedure for something that was your fault and that usually does not happens. I do not see your point!

Yes I know I can delete the tab and re add it, but is there a way to edit an exiting tab. A preference property that can change the relation. Reason this would save time especially if you have already set properties for the orignal tab.
Example Original Tab:
properties
imagemedia = image.jpg
background = #ffeecc
foreground = #eeffdd
name = tab1
text = people
tooltip = long text explanation.
Now, if I deleted the tab then I would need to set all these properties again. Then multiple that by a number of other tabs that may need to be fixed.
This is important if you are working on a team of developers. If errors are found then they need to be fixed. If one of the developers doesn’t no all the properties then it makes it that more difficult to correct.
More chances for mistakes can occur. If you delete a tab and forget to write down the properties of the original, then what.
I can think of many examples why this should be in Servoy but I will not list them all.
The point is, it just makes good UI design for Servoy Developer.
