HttpService not running - Vista

Hi Servoyans,

I’m trying to get Developer 3.1.7 running on Vista, and while Developer runs just fine, try as I might I can’t get the HttpService to run. On the Services Panel in Prefs, clicking on the Test button gives “HttpService is not running”.

I’ve tried Java 1.5, Java 1.6.
I’ve tried changing the HTTP Port (8080, 8081, 8090)
I’ve tried changing the RMI port (1099, 1098)
with a restart of Servoy after each change.
IP is set to 127.0.0.1

In a browser, I can’t get to http://localhost:8080 (or whatever port I set)
nor http://localhost:8080/servoy-admin
I just get blank screens.

The only error message I get is when I try a method calling the http plugin.

Could you try without entering any IP address? I run Vista and it works just fine.

Thanks for the response. Do you mean in the Prefs>Services panel?
