Images as background to form

HI all just purchased Servoy! Quite happy so far.
I need to put a form image on the background. The put down edits and such as if the use is filling it out then print the whole image with the data on the image with the image or just the data.

Are you perhaps looking for a way to have database columns encapsulated in a pdf form/image?

thanks for the reply. I want the form have as its backgound a paper form that needs to be filled out as its “background”. You are asble to accomplish this in filemaker with the container and then place edit boxes on it. the user has the “illusion” of filling out a paper form. Since servoy is in java. This should be possible to directly “paint” the imgae on the form without the use of a container.

  1. go into designer and create a label (Elements>Place Label)
  2. select the label and double click on it’s imageMedia property.
  3. a dialog will show up, where you can import your image.
  4. after importing and closing the dialog, place your dataproviders(fields) on top of the label.
