Hello,
I am trying to install java and servoy on a centos linux server, and am becoming more and more frustrated, with what all documentation on the servoy site said should be relatively easy, well I must be a dummy, and I am quite happy to admit this if I am doing something wrong.

1. I have installed the sun java jdk 1.5 , using the RPM file from SUNS website with out problems.

I then can install servoy with the following command

# /usr/java/jdk1.5.0\_06/bin/java -jar servoy\_installer.jar

but using the same full path information servoy\_developer does not run.

I really need some help with this I have spent quite a few months developing a invoicing system, and now need to get it going on a new application server. And my dead line is moving in quickly.

I couple of notes

1. if I type java -version on the command line I get the following error

command not found

Regards

Phil R

Can you give us a bit more information?

Error messages, commands you type in, the path that servoy is installed into, etc.

From your comments I can only deduce that java is not in your PATH. If that has any relevance to why you are not getting Servoy to run, I cannot know from the information that is posted.
