# Issue with relation based on database view

Hi Servoy,

We have an issue with a relation which links a database view with a real table. In the Relation editor of Servoy Developer it shows the view in red, even though the view exists and can be selected from the list, is not marked as “hidden” and has a column designated as “row ident”. At runtime, we are getting the warning “Relation vw\_ap\_payment\_trans\_selection\_to\_ap\_transaction\_hst cannot be used in a find” even though both the view and the table involved in that relation are in the same database. The attached screen shot shows the information above. We have a few other relation similar to this and they all have the same issue. What is the problem with using database views in relations?
