JasperReports don't work on Local Area Network

I was using the JasperReports Servoy Plugin 300a1 with iReport 352 and all works
OK, but when I install the latest version of JasperReports Servoy Plugin v300 and
iReport v360 , I obtained this situation:

In iReport v3.6.0 the reports work OK.

In Servoy Developer 501 all works OK

In Servoy Client on the wide area network ( Internet ) , example on my house
accesing the Servoy Application of my Customer , all works OK.

In Servoy Client on the local area network of my customer , example a
workstation in the installation of my customer , the reports don’t work

( see image and the text file of the Java Konsole of the error )

Armin,

This error means there is a version difference in server/client java code.
Did you restart the server after updating the plugin?

You can probably fix it for the client where it does not work by clearing the webstart cache.

Rob:

Thanks for your response.

Where do I clearing the webstart cache ?
In the Application Server or in Firefox

Regards Armin

Armin,

In the client (webstart).

Rob

Written years ago but should mostly still be correct:

Java Cache Clearing Instructions

Assuming Java 5.0

Instructions for cleaning out the java cache files are very similar for both Macintosh and Windows systems

Mac

Open Applications folder
Navigate to Utilities\Java\J2SE 5.0
Open the ‘Java Preferences’ application
Near the bottom of the window click the ‘Delete Files…’ button in the ‘Temporary Internet Files’ section
Make sure that all three check boxes are checked and click ‘OK’ to empty the java cache
Quit ‘Java Preferences’

In Finder, select ‘Go to Folder…’ from the Go menu
Type in ~/.servoy
This will open up the .servoy directory for the currently logged in user
Delete all of the files in the .servoy directory
Empty Trash

PC

Open Control Panel
Select the ‘Java’ control panel
(Note, if Java is not in your control panel, make sure that you are in classic view and not category view)
Near the bottom of the window click the ‘Delete Files…’ button in the ‘Temporary Internet Files’ section
Make sure that all three check boxes are checked
Click ‘OK’ twice (to empty the cache and close the Java control panel)

Open My Computer
Navigate to C:\Documents and Setting<username>.servoy, where is the user you want to clear the servoy cache for
Delete all the files in this directory
Empty the Recycle Bin

Also, for web and headless client there are times when you need to delete everything in this directory and restart Servoy server or developer:

Servoy/application_server/server/work
