1. A line in Designer is shown 3 pixels lower than in the running app.

2. ItM-4s very hard to draw a straight line. Normally you can hold the shift key to draw straight lines, this is not working.

3. I need a thinner line than 1 pixel for printing, 0.5 pixel, 0.25 pixel and a hairline. 1 pixel lines are to fat.

Version R2 2.0 rc3-build 263
Java version 1.4.2\_03-b02 (Windows 2000)

I agree!

And the position is different in browse-view than in preview-mode!
(about 3px too!!)

And I miss the size and location prperties for the line tool.
Can you implement that?

Dieter

I know, i know it is only a **workaround** and I don’t like that either.

Both the linetool and jseperator have the disadvantage they can not be anchored to the form. So I created the following workaround:

- Make 2 labels…
- Give label 1 the background color you want and size it to be 1 pixel high or wide.
- Give label 2 the background color white and and size it to be 1 pixel high or wide again.
- Group the labels and position them.

And there you go, a line at the right position with anchors…

-3 px offset is fixed in Servoy 2.0 rc9
-anchors property is now removed from shape objects (line/spline/polygon) propery, it nearly impossible to scale such elements due to anchoring (anchoring is only supported on boxed objects)

In case of anchored vertical/horizontal lines use a label without text and specialmatteborder (0,1,0,0) if you want for example a vertical scaling line
