i have to disappoint that that half the size smaller will be killed maybe in the next release or else after that…
Because what is not in this release is “chromium” so with M1 we depend on the internal safari browser. which i think will work for most situations fine but we don’t really test for that because we want to have the same browser over all platforms.
But for now our supplier for Chromium doesn’t have a Aarch64 variant so its not included… But they already announced they will do a new release for chrome 87 (we are now on 80) and that will include also the Aarch64 binaries, so then also our M1 build will include chromium (and will be bigger)
