Sorry for taking some time to reply but licensing is a tricky thing..
I know , but you have managed to explain very well. Thanks.

For those interested in getting access to the wrapper, you’ll need to contact John McCann (idoctor). If you need assistance with the bean (support), I would be happy to help.
In addition to the wrapper mentioned above, I will be creating additional bean wrappers that encapsulate other parts of the MigCalendar libraries that will be available from myself, and/or from the MigCalendar site.
The bean wrapper available from John looks very much like the demo application you can download from migcalendar.com. I basically wrapped that entire group of beans into one bean, and provided a variety of hooks for registering callbacks and manipulating some of the bean’s features, eg. setting categories, events, date ranges shown, etc.
I am now available to independently do customizations and provide support on a contract basis. If you have a good idea of the type of bean you’d like, let me know. I’m willing to work with you on pricing, and guarantee my work.
For those who would like to write their own wrappers I am happy to give pointers and answer questions as well.
Send me a message if you would like to discuss options, or post a new thread for questions about the wrapper(s).
Thanks,
Fred
Good news I have worked out an arrangement that allows me to sell the calendar bean wrapper, and provide support for it.
If anyone is interested please contact me directly via private message. I will have some screenshots available soon, as well as details on how to purchase online.
Thanks,
Fred
and another customer here!
Mikael,
It looks great!
Does MIG Calendar hold contacts or can we import contacts into it?
Abrahim
Abrahim (and gang),
MiG Calendar is the java bean that is exposed by Fred’s wrapper. I’m not really sure how it works in Servoy since we don’t use Servoy.
MiG Calendar is created to be very flexible and you can almost always say “yes, it’s supported” however it’s not usually (except in our new JavaBeans that wraps the calendar component for use in a normal RAD IDE) settable in the simples possible way.
For instance when it comes to adding contacts MiG Calendar supports any kind of resource, they can even be hierarchical, but not human contacts in particular.
I’m not sure what features Fred’s wrapper is/will be supporting/exposing but rest assuread that almost anything is possible and your input to Fred regarding what you want is the best way to affect what’s included.
We will work with Fred from the “back end” to make sure MiG Calendar supports everything and he will make these features available to you Servoy developers.
Support for the wrapper is handled by Fred and he will contact us if there’s something wrong in the MiG Calendar bean.
Please also note that you need to own/purchase a license of the MiG Calendar bean as well as purchase the Wrapper from Fred.
Cheers,
Mikael,
Thanks for the info.
Abrahim
