Moving from Oracle Forms to Servoy

Anyone here has experiances with moving from an enviroment with Oracle Forms apps (4.5 in this case) to Servoy?

I have a client who is moving from MacOS9 to MacOSX next year as their client platform. Their database server is Oracle ( 7/8 ) on AIX.
As you might know Oracle Forms is not supported on OSX other than with their webversion. So they have to migrate anyway.

They asked me if Servoy would be a good substitute for Oracle Forms.
Since my experiances with Servoy is still limited I am looking for people who are in such a migration path or are planning one or are developing on Oracle.

Also how does Servoy compare to Oracle Forms 6 or 9 on Oracle 8/9i (that is their choice atm). What pitfalls are there when migrating/rewriting apps to Servoy.

Lots of questions :)
I hope someone can shet some light on these.

Thanks!

I have a lot of Oracle database experience but very little Forms experience. Servoy is easier to use than Forms, easier to deploy, offers faster development and easier deployment besides being database independent.

Servoy will run perfect as a front-end for Oracle 7,8,9 and 10 and is an excellent alternative to Forms.
