I made an export in developer and checked the box ‘create a new release after export’. Imho two thing go wrong:
The new release is not actived. I can live with this ;
When I open the method editor right away (without switching to layout mode first) I don’t get the message that I can’t update an old release… This way valuable work can get lost !
Maybe you where expecting something else but it is the wanted behaviour, we made that option becouse if you export a release for a customer you might want to continue work in new release.
A new release is not made the active becouse we don’t know if a Servoy server is using the same database as repository, in that senario you likely never want to make a new release the active one at once, since all the end users whould see your changes.
About you second remark, only the last release is editable and you have to explicitly load the latest release via the repository dialog!
