I am looking at ways to improve the running of my solution.

It occurs to me that i have not optimized, analysed, checked or repaired the tables in the servoy repository since i created it 2 years ago!

I am not a mysql expert, but can i asusme, applying these routines to the servoy repository database table wont create any issues.

Is it likely to improve the performance, or am i just messing for the sake of messing?

David

If you have many releases of your solution it would be a good idea to delete them all and reimport the latest ones, beside that I don’t think any other maintenance is needed.

Thanks That sounds sensible.

I have 15 releases to date.

15 is not something to worry about, at least in my experience, I usually delete them all when I reach 40-50 and when I can afford to not be able to roll-back to a previous release.
This is not a common rule, maybe other developers are using different limits, it would be interesting to have an official opinion from R&D.
