Placing images with their original size

Is it possible to set the default image media placing option in a way that preserves the original size of the picture?

Resizing every picture I put on a layout is very time-consuming… :)

Will it also be possible to delete multiple images from the media repository? I imported an entire folder full of tiff images, but I can’t select them all to remove them all at once.
