Portal Sorting

Was something changed in 3.5.5 from 3.5.3 in regard to portal sorting? My sorts don’t seem to be working.

Linux Centos
Version 3.5.5
Java version 1.6.0

Just checked 3.5.5 and the sort on portals seems to work fine. Are you sure the “sorted” property is checked on your portal?

Sorry for not being as specific as I should have been. It was a 4AM post.

I have a portal that has an initialSort in the properties. This doesn’t seem to be triggered and so I am always presented with the rows in their creation order. This appears to happen whether the sortable property checkbox is checked or unchecked.

Thanks for your reply Gabi and if you could see if your intitalSorts are honored it would be appreciated.

Hi, I checked the “initialSort” property on portals, and it seems to be honored just fine. What is missing is an indicator of the sort status in the column headers, but the data inside the portal gets sorted as I would expect it. And it gets sorted for any value of the “sortable” property: checked/unchecked.
