# Portals based on Global Relationships?

I know, so FileMaker of me, but I’m stuck and wanted to try this. The interface makes me believe it’s impossible to have a portal based on a global relationship, or at least to draw a new portal and find a global relation to base it on. Am I missing something?

Is the primary table of global relation the same as table of the form where you want to place the portal ?

Ok, we noticed that in Servoy 3.5 you could select also global relations when adding a portal. So, this functionality is missing in Servoy 5. Will add it back for next release (5.2.2). As a workaround, you can use the setting of primary table for global relation.
