I need to print a form but don’t know how to set the margins. Now they seem to be set to a standard of one inch (at leat left and top)…
Don’t know about this either: is there a way to capture the action of the printbutton and closebutton? I want to show the result of the hard work of the client first via a printpreview and want to make it ‘final’ after the printbutton is pushed or cancel it after the closebutton is pushed. But I don’t know how to do this…
I had to get my forms printed in full size A4, so at the moment I am
using oversize PDF as a workaround:
In Servoy print preview I have custom paper size A4 which is
enlarged by two inches on both directions (260 x 347 mm).
This is printed to PDF-file and then batch cropped in Acrobat back to A4.
But the ONLY working found as far (despite A3 paper and scissors ).
As this company gets solely paid for printed documents -not records viewed on the screen, Servoy would have been dumped if documents
coludn’t get properly printed.
I’m the first to download any fixes to this issue.
No problem, all will work fine. Apple just forgot to implement page margins in the page setup of their operating system. Servoy uses the operating systems printer dialogs. We’re now working on a non-operating dependant solution, we’ll keep you posted on the progress.
Today I convinced my second customer to say goodbye to FileMaker and say hello to Servoy… It is a small design buro in Haarlem working for for instance o’Neill and Ubisoft (not the least to say).
Both customers will go to their new solution after chrismas, the second one works with OS X only…
