Ok, mail plugin is updated that you can override arbitrary properties now, both with sendMail and receiveMail.
As far as the multipart/mime thing, I understand the problem and I’ll have a look at it.
As far as the mail that seems to have no attachment but that actually does, I cannot imagine how that can be the plugin’s fault. It really seems that it must be mail client issue (the attachment is ACTUALLY there, the client even realizes it, only a bit late maybe), so the client is wrong in not realizing there is an attachment immediately.

edit later: bummer! If I forward the message, the attachement is visible again. I really do have an example of a mail, not showing the attachment sign and if you open it the attachement is there! (Outlook Express, latest version!)
But what the heck: it is solved in the latest version!
