Installing Servoy 1.1 on a win98se PC (italian version) the process hangs just after closing the command windows that appears after the firebird installation?..Someone is having the same problem… or I should proceed to a probably needed system reinstallation?? In the machine was installed and worked fine the 1.01 version (removed before 1.1 installation).

Make sure you skip the firebird installation if firebird is already installed which it probably is, I have seen it hang in other occassions if you try to install it when it is already installed.
It hangs also if I skip firebird…
That might be the Windows Service item. As you have no Services under 98/ME make sure you uncheck the Windows Service item in the installer before starting installation.
Also DO note that Servoy Developer ‘officially’ does not support 98/ME. I think it will work pretty well in most cases but remember that we do not test on 98/ME.
You got it!! (as usual). It was the “windows services”, I deselected it and the installation ended correctly… and I lost a good excuse to reformat my portable…
