running summary

Hi there,

How can I create a running summary field like we can do in filemaker?

I have tried putting the summary field in the list layout. but it shows the summary of the foundset in all the records.

Please shed some lights

Short answer:

a) You can’t.
b) This isn’t FileMaker

Longer answer:

You need to have a number or integer data field and then loop through the records and set the value.
