We are pleased to announce the availability of Servoy 2020.12 release candidate 1 (release number 3620)

For Windows the installer: [exe](http://download.servoy.com/beta/latest/servoy_installer.3620.exe)
and for the MacOSX we have an native [dmg](http://download.servoy.com/beta/latest/servoy_installer.3620.dmg)
for linux it is [tar.gz](http://download.servoy.com/beta/latest/servoy_linux.3620.tar.gz)

For windows we also still have just the [zip](http://download.servoy.com/beta/latest/servoy_windows.3620.zip)

An installation (coming from the normal installer or from a platform specific archive) is shipping with with a Java VM (Java 15.0.1)

So for the platform specific archives you don’t need to install or java have on your system.

The developer can be updated by the [http://download.servoy.com/developer/la … ecandidate](http://download.servoy.com/developer/latest/releasecandidate) update site url.
This is in our “latest” release stream (03,06,09,12) if you want to stick the the lts release then disable that releasecandidate url and stick to the urls with “lts” in the name
If you update to this release you have to do a new install of 2020.03.1\_lts to go back to an the LTS release branch

See [whats new](https://wiki.servoy.com/display/DOCS/2020.12+Whats+new) for the global changes

See the [issues](https://wiki.servoy.com/display/DOCS/2020.12) list for a complete overview of all the cases (with an updated list of rc2 cases)

We will release also new component and service packages shortly.

Well I do see that there are lots of warning about missing @return in a lot of svyXXX modules.
So I guess that issue fix is working!

Hi Pitc,

Thanks for downloading and trying 2020.12 RC1!
We will be making releases of Servoy Extensions which implement the missing @return over the next month in time for the final release.

Best,
Sean
