# Servoy 4.0 Documentation is Available

Servoy 4.0 Documentation is now available in these formats:
- **Printed** Servoy 4.0 Books
- **PDF** Downloadable Servoy 4.0 Documentation Files
- **Online** Servoy 4.0 Developer Help.
Printed Servoy 4.0 Books
Because Servoy 4.0 is now an Eclipse plug-in, the Servoy documentation has been
completely re-written – expanded by 200 pages, with over 300 new/enhanced features
and functions; as well as 800 new/updated screenshots to help you develop and deploy
even more powerful Servoy solutions.
Until September 15, you can purchase the Servoy 4.0 Full Book Set – including the
Servoy 4.0 Developer User’s Guide; Servoy Developer Reference Guide; Servoy Client
User’s Guide; and Servoy Server Administrator’s Guide – for only $189 US (the current
price for Servoy documentation) from the online [**Servoy Store**](https://secure.servoy.com/).
If you are attending ServoyWorld in Las Vegas, Sept. 2-5, you will have an opportunity to
review and preorder your set of Servoy 4.0 Books at the Conference.

2. Open the _Developers_ tab at the top of the web page.
3. Select the _Documentation_ topic from the Topics Navigator located on the left of any Servoy web page.
4. Click once on the _Servoy Books_ subtopic to display a web page containing more details about each
book in the Servoy 4.0 Full Book Set.

PDF Servoy 4.0 Downloadable Documentation Files

to view the list of Servoy 4.0 Documentation files.
2. Click the link for the title of the PDF Servoy 4.0 Documentation file you wish
to download.
NOTE: Older 3.5.x Servoy Documentation PDF files can also be
downloaded – free of charge.
Online Servoy Help
The Servoy 4.0 Developer Online Help combines the information from the
Servoy 4.0 Developer User’s Guide and the Servoy 4.0 Developer Reference Guide
into one Online Servoy Help Contents.
As of Servoy 4.0, you no longer need to first download, update and/or replace your online
help files. To open the Servoy 4.0 Developer Online Help, follow these simple steps:
1. Make sure that the Servoy 4.0 Developer workbench is open.
2. Choose the menu item Help \> Help Contents.
3. You should see “Servoy 4.0” appear in the navigator tree on the left.
4. Click once on the “Servoy 4.0” link to display the Servoy documentation tree of chapters and sections.
NOTE: Due to a bug that is still being resolved, you cannot perform a search in the
Servoy 4.0 Developer Online Help.
The Servoy Client 4.0 Help Navigator
Included as part of the Servoy installation and made available when
deploying to Servoy Clients.
1. Choose Help \> Help (F1) to open the Servoy Client 4.0
Help Navigator.
The Servoy 4.0 Server Documentation
The Servoy 4.0 Server Administrator’s Guide can be downloaded as a PDF
by following these steps:
1. Go to the _Servoy/application\_server/docs_ directory.
2. Double Click to open the _servoy\_server\_admin\_guide.webloc_ file.
3. Download the “ServoyServerAdminGuide.pdf file”
NOTE: Due to the large size of the Servoy Server 4.0 documentation, the download may
take a few minutes.
NOTE: If you are unable to download the ServoyServerAdminGuide.pdf file, go to:

to download the Servoy 4.0 Server Administrator’s Guide PDF file.
