I am currently running the Servoy Developer version 2026.6.0 on a Windows 11 laptop. I just upgraded to 2026.6.1 and now I get the error “Servoy ApplicationServer update failed; please shutdown developer and try to run the command line updater.” when it tries to update my application.

Does anybody know what the command line is to run the updater?

Has anybody else received this error? If so, what did you do to resolve it?

TIA

There should be a servoy\_updater.jar in the top folder of you developer, you could try to run that with `java -jar servoy_updater.jar` to run the updater.

I just tried that and received the following error:

Error: Main method not found in class com.servoy.updater.VersionCheck, please define the main method as:
public static void main(String[] args)
or a JavaFX application class must extend javafx.application.Application

Note, I get the same error when I run the servoy\_updater.bat in that folder.

I get the same error when i want to update Servoy Developer from 2024.3.10 to 2024.3.11.
When i run the servoy\_updater.bat i get this error message:

`Loading version info...`
`Exception in thread "main" java.io.IOException: Server returned HTTP response code: 403 for URL: ``http://download.servoy.com/downloads/0xx_updates/version_info.txt`
`at sun.net.www.protocol.http.HttpURLConnection.getInputStream0(Unknown Source)`
`at sun.net.www.protocol.http.HttpURLConnection.getInputStream(Unknown Source)`
`at java.net.URL.openStream(Unknown Source)`
`at com.servoy.updater.VersionCheck.loadVersionInfoFile(VersionCheck.java:167)`
`at com.servoy.updater.VersionCheck.main(VersionCheck.java:380)`

When try to open this URL in the browser i also get a 403 forbidden with the following XML:

```auto
<Error>
<Code>AccessDenied</Code>
<Message>Access Denied</Message>
<RequestId>PZK3Q9JP1135NQBM</RequestId>
</Error>
```

Seems like a server-side issue?

I have same problem - exactly.
The command line updater fails.
Should I re-download the entire latest version?
