Although the ServoyFORGE website is still under development we didn’t want to withhold you the Open Source Outlook Bar bean from Trivium Software BV that was shown on ServoyWorld.
P.s. if you have Open Source projects that you really want to put up for download send me an email and I will put up a download page for your project. This until I have the functionality in place so you can manage it all yourself
My email address is linked under this message.
From the example, it looks like you have a field in your table to show a graphic on the button when selected, but there is nothing in the parameters to set this value nor any other way to show the selected state of the button. Am I missing something or was this removed for a reason?
I really like this solution and it is easy to work with. Nice job!
Is this bean still available? Could not find it at the forge or any where else. Outlook now has a nice navigator bar that scrolls. down into icons. I would love a bean that could do that.
I still have the bean on the server but the author posted it as-is. I.e. he won’t be maintaining it.
This is probably also the reason why there was no project page created when the new ServoyForge site went live.
The bean itself is from 2005 and one can wonder if it still works correctly in Servoy 5.x/6.x and has the functionality that you want (resize into icons).
And what you want can also be done by using the onResize() event and the SolutionModel. Which means it can even work on the web, unlike with this bean.
But if someone wants to take up this bean as his/hers project on ServoyForge you are welcome. I have the source of it available.
Hi Robert
I have to have something that works on the web, so agree with you. I have the solutionModel working and will try the onResize() event.
Good to know the code is available when I get knowledgeable enought to start creating my own beans
Many thanks
Mark
