Solution will not import and other wierdness

When trying to import a particular solution, I get the following error:

com.servoy.jsdb.persistence.RepositoryException.java.util.zip.ZipException:error in opening file.

A copy of this solution was successfully exported a few days ago and imported into Servoy Server. Is there any way to retrieve that version since it is working? This brings me to the second strange thing that is going on. I have two machines running Servoy Client, on the Mac I am able to open up any and every solution running on the Server. On the PC, I am getting an error headed

Client Register

with a message

Could not register client.

. I have a 25 user license and I am the only user and the code is showing as OK. The error comes up after I am prompted to select the solution I want to open.

Also is there any way to overcome the error that I am getting when importing or does it mean that the file is corrupted and useless? If so, any ideas what can cause this.

Hi Michael,

  1. The client issue - are you using the Developer as a client? If so, we only allow TWO client connections for testing purposes (i.e. the open developer acts as a client - plus two additional).

Can you open ANY solution from the PC with the Mac host?

  1. Importing: What version of Servoy are you using? What version was the solution exported using? On the Mac? On the PC? Do you have the log.txt output?
