Hi
I’ve got no Servoy products so far.
I’d like to build a completely stand alone application with Servoy.
Is there a documentation which would explain what products i need and how to build a stand alone?

Regards
Kamil

The docs in pdf format are here:

I guess you mean you don’t want a client - server but a standalone application ? Then runtime client is the way to go. You should build the solution in Servoy developer, test it in debug clients then export it with Runtime Builder Wizard (make sure you installed it, it’s not selected by default). Runtime client has a few limitations, it only works with sybase database and you can use only one server in solution.

Thank you
I read that a runtime is a seperate product. Do you know if it is included in the free community eddition download?

Kamil - when you install Servoy you will be offered the option to install the Runtime too - you must select it to have it installed.

Yes, (I’m pretty sure) its with the community edition.

I don’t know if it is in free community edition download, however you can export the solution and use it for 5 minutes without any limitations, then popup(s) will show saying you should buy a license. So, you can test the application but for deployment/distribution to customers you should buy a license. You can also contact [support@servoy.com](mailto:support@servoy.com) for assistance in your particular case.
