Synchronize what?

This has been true since v4.0:

In Developer 4.1.2, using the Serclipse versioning, I often have a very annoying behavior when commiting my solution:
When I do, Servoy complains that there are conflicts, even though I am pretty sure no one has touched the solution.

So I do a Synchronize, and 9 times out of 10 the problem lies in the .dbi files, which, when I open them in the compare editor shows there is no difference at all, like in this example below, can you spot any?

I call that a bad case of “spot the differences” :x

Has any of you ever encountered such a behavior? Is there a case in the support already open or should I open one?

hi,

this is happening because a resource is marked as changed if its timestamp is changed,
and this is happening often with the dbi files, that are re-generated, although there content
was not changed.

we did fix this issue, in the upcoming releases, by marking a resource as changed, only if its
content has been changed
