Why are my .dbi Files not exported?

Hi guys,

i have a problem which costs me the last nerve.

Situation:
I have a project with lets say 2 databases:

pg_rooms and pg_rooms_aadfd006_f0ef_448e_bfc7_1b7598cbe420

When i export my .war there are only the .dbi files for pg_rooms and none for the other.
I unzipped the .war and noticed that in .\WEB-INF\db\ the .dbi file is missing and the folder too.
In the export settings i have them both databases checked and “export via dbi files only” too.

Now when i have changes in the other database, those changes are not made when i put the new .war into my tomcat.
And i have the following error in my servoy-log:

2024-08-21 16:48 ServoyServerScheduler-1-thread-2 WARN servoy.DBIProvider server dbi file '/WEB-INF/db/pg_rooms_aadfd006_f0ef_448e_bfc7_1b7598cbe420.dbi' not found

Newest servoy is used 2024.6.1.3983

Does anyone have a idea?

Got it, the .dbi is only getting exported if you have a form which access the foundset.

So i just created a dummy form and the datasource i named pg_rooms_aadfd006_f0ef_448e_bfc7_1b7598cbe420.someTable

Viola, the .dbi´s are getting exported how they should.

On export you can also tick a checkbox to export all tables from referenced servers.
This way you don’t have to create dummy forms

Hey mboegem, i did that, both checkboxes are clicked. dbi files are not getting exported.
Thats why i was confused, everything is checked but still no export…

Only when i added the dummy form, it worked.

I’ve missed that part in your post.
I’d say this is a bug.

Other option to force export might be to just reference the datasource in a function.
Not tested, but should work I guess.
Something like this:

function tableReferences() {
datasources.db.myserver.mytable
}

thanks for the info. I´ll try it out later today.

Yeah it seems like this is a bug, i´ll open a issue on the jira-board of servoy.

I found another thing, i cant edit or update the versionsnr in the solution properties, seems like a new bug too.
