Release notes for Servoy betas

license issue

Postby Hans Nieuwenhuis » Thu Nov 12, 2009 8:17 pm

Hi,

I upgraded to Version: 5.0.0 - build 859
Now my licences are marked invalid.

What could be the problem ??

In 5 Rc 5 (build 858) the licences where "upgraded" by a rechecking that was asked when entering the licences.
They work fine there.

Regards,

Hans Nieuwenhuis

No, fortunately my colleague made a backup of the servoy directory...

I noticed in developer that v 859 is servoy 5.0.0 ! end of RC period ?

Time to buy some Servoy license ?

Our licenses are purchased and in maintenance.

They worked in 3.5.10, 4.1.2 and 5 rc5. They only not work in 5.0

I tested it, but still same problem.

( Or do I have to update Servoy again ?)

I have (the same?) issue as well.

Clicking the link gives me this error message: 'The subscription to this license has ended on Fri Apr 24 17:12:06 CEST 2009.
Please contact your Servoy account manager or sales@servoy.com.' which is incorrect!

We also ran into this same problem in 5.0.0.

What is the procedure for this?
Is Servoy (Maarten) going to provide us with new license keys?

Hello,
We are upgrading our server in order to make the auto upgrade of servoy 5 keys work again.
Will post a message this week when it's completed.
Thanks,
Maarten.

Any news on this yet?
We'd like to start deploying our solution in v5, but we need licences... ;-)

I fixed a bug today that should eliminate any problems upgrading to servoy 5.
Please note that an upgrade can still be bounced by our server in case of invalid or non paid subscription, mistyped info etc.
If so, a link containing the error message should ALWAYS display after clicking the "check code" button.

Please all try and upgrade again.
Apologies for the inconvenience!

Thanks,
Maarten.
