Servoy will work on a G3, the reason we recommend a G4 is because java is not very fast on a G3 at this point in time.
The above quote is from another thread but it brings up a point. I've been testing Developer on a G4-733 / OS X 10.2.6 /Java 1.4.1 and on a Windows 2000 / P-III 800mhz box.
The performance of Servoy is much better on the PC versus the G4. I am wondering why the performance on the PC is so much better. Is it Apple's Java engine, or OS X or ???? Any insights would be appreciated.
