2.1 Auto-Updates to existing solutions

Postby Westy » Tue Sep 07, 2004 4:13 am

Is the 2.1 final being automatically offered to current users of Servoy solutions, when they open a solution for the first time following the release of 2.1? If so, is there a way that we as developers can control this?

The only way a new version is offered is through the Developer (if I am correct). So YES, we developers have complete control and can set the pace. I for one chose to upgrade my clients over the weekend... Flawlessly btw...

The autoupgrade mechanism is a Servoy developer thing, your clients running with Servoy server/clients will not autoupgade.
