Palm what? Client?

Actually you can do it today by using the Headless Client and writing a couple of JSP pages (in fact I've posted some examples - check out the "Headless Client" topice).

Doesn't cost anything more than a regular client (each JSP session uses a concurrent like - as if they were on the network - and each JSP session will automatically timeout after about 10 minutes - freeing up the license for another user).

Hope this helps.

Hi Bob,
Why does it timeout after 10 minutes?
Is it possible to modify the length of the timeout?

I mean something like the disconnetted client that can make hotsync with a central DB, running over Palm and/or PocketPC.

This only happens when the client does not use the headless client anymore.
Than the headless client will be timeout.

You can change the timeout settings in your tomcat configuration file.

Disconnected is a different issue. We're investigating it for a future release.

We developed a prototype a year ago but due to low demand we put it back in the fridge. Anybody who is interested in the offline pda version can contact me by email.
