You can set a mnemonic for OS X but, as far as I am aware of, it will not work...

Calendar Display Type permits editing of non-editable field

Postby Michael Mooney » Tue Jun 19, 2007 4:02 am

Created new form with field type timestamp in Postgres. Datetime in Servoy.

Generated basic form. Datetime field by default includes a Calendar displayType property.

Set the editable design time field off (false). Result:

1. Field does not allow direct editing - expected behaviour
2. If I click on the Calendar icon it allows me to pick another date and change this field even though it is set to Editable=false.

2. is expected behaviour.
If you want to it really to be non-editable, change the field-property to TEXT.

Uhm: quite confusing, in a multi-platform environment...

Thanks, Marcel

Well, Java is platform independant, but Apple decided not to do anything with the mnemonic settings in their Look And Feel...

As George Orwell would say: All operating systems are equal but some are more equal (OSX) than others.

Thanks Jan (and Paul)

Since I'm expecting Apple to fix their bug in Open/Save windows (you cannot pre-set a name for a file, under OS X) since 1840, I'm afraid I'll have to live without mnemonic ;-)
