Postby youseful » Tue Jan 20, 2004 8:51 pm

HI

I had servoy installed in machine that I had used extensively. Now It has stop working? When I click on the shortcut, The cursor changes to an hourglass then back. and thats it! Noother software was installed.
Is there a "start up log"?

I am on Win XP home

A second install

OK
I tried to install it on my laptop so i can at least work with it. It installed fine. But when I run it . I try to click new or open solution nothing happens. In fact the only menu item that seems to be working is the help menu. Nothing else?

How I do debug this? again is there an error log or something?

Sounds like a problem with Java on your machine. Can you open a command prompt cd to the servoy directory and type:

Code: Select all
java -jar servoy_developer.jar

what output does that give you?

Do you have Java 1.4.2 on that machine? This behaviour could occurr if you use Java 1.3.x
