Servoy Application Server Doesn't Recognize User Accounts

Postby kwpsd » Wed Jan 11, 2012 8:18 am

Servoy Version: 6.0.4 - build 1227
JRE build 1.6.0_30
MS SQL Server 2008

Today, at a customer's site, we installed only the Servoy Application Server (SAS) on a Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard computer connected to the customer's existing Microsoft SQL Server 2008 back end. Using the SAS administration portal, we created two user accounts; both users are marked as 'Administrator'. Now, whenever we log into the administration portal using either account, the message:

WARNING: No administrator user, this is NOT SECURE! Create one NOW.

appears even though there are existing user accounts. We have restarted the SAS service and the SQL server several times, but the message persists.

We will be at the customer's site again tomorrow, and we are looking to remedy this problem before we leave. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?

Thanks!

if you just create an admin user in the config pages, (then you are also asked to login) then you shouldn't see that message anymore,
So i have currently no idea why you would still see that, if you are asked to login and you can login with an admin user.
