Does now Servoy work with OpenJDK or only sun Java?

Postby jcarlos » Fri Dec 13, 2013 7:23 pm

These Servoy Blog and Forum posts state that Servoy requires Sun/Oracle java and not to install it as root.

Installing Servoy on Linux in 10 seconds
Installation on Ubuntu 10

However, these post are from 2010. Is this still true? I thought I read somewhere that Servoy supports all version of Java. Am I correct? What's the status on this?

Thanks!

Hi jcarlos.

I've tested jrockit from Oracle just to know if it worked with Servoy. And as far as I know, it already works.
