Password when importing solution on application server

Postby sini » Thu Jun 19, 2014 1:26 pm

When trying to import a solution on servoy application server
there is a prompt that says
This solution can be password protected
and asks for a password

how do I get rid of this?

I imported onto this server before and this was not there
on other servers it is also not there

if I don't put in a password it doesn't import
or if I put in a password it says incorrect

Hi Sini,

It means that the solution was exported from your developer WITH a password. Hence the need for the password when importing it somewhere else.

Hi Robert

thanks for the reply
although I didn't export with a password, on another server it doesn't have that option, also it is before I even select a solution to import.

I just noticed that the servoy server ver on this server is 7.3.0 and my developer ver 6.1.2, this may be the problem

This. Over the years quite a number of different Servoy versions throw the password protected error depending on the variance between the export and import versions.

There are a number of ways around this if you can't solve.
