Postby vitaliyna » Thu Jul 31, 2014 2:48 pm

Hi. I installed Servoy developer on ubuntu 13.10 but when I try to work with forms, SD aborted with next message:
WARNING: Cookie rejected: "[version: 0][name: JSESSIONID][value: 74461964E8C49F605AA963C5A3F8E3C1][domain: subclipse.tigris.org][path: /servlets][expiry: null]". Illegal path attribute "/servlets". Path of origin: "/update_1.10.x/p2.index"
[xcb] Unknown request in queue while dequeuing
[xcb] Most likely this is a multi-threaded client and XInitThreads has not been called
[xcb] Aborting, sorry about that.
servoy: ../../src/xcb_io.c:179: dequeue_pending_request: Assertion `!xcb_xlib_unknown_req_in_deq' failed.
Aborted (core dumped)

What could be the reason?

Update your Ubuntu to 14.10 or use 12.04.

Ubuntu 13.10 (Saucy Salamander) reaches End of Life on July 17 2014
By lyz | Published: 2014-06-20

Ubuntu announced its 13.10 (Saucy Salamander) release almost 9 months ago, on October 17, 2013. This was the second release with our new 9 month support cycle and, as such, the support period is now nearing its end and Ubuntu 13.10 will reach end of life on Thursday, July 17th. At that time, Ubuntu Security Notices will no longer include information or updated packages for Ubuntu 13.10.

The supported upgrade path from Ubuntu 13.10 is via Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. Instructions and caveats for the upgrade may be found at:

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/TrustyUpgrades

Ubuntu 14.04 LTS continues to be actively supported with security updates and select high-impact bug fixes. Announcements of security updates for Ubuntu releases are sent to the ubuntu-security-announce mailing list, information about which may be found at:

https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listin ... y-announce

Since its launch in October 2004 Ubuntu has become one of the most highly regarded Linux distributions with millions of users in homes, schools, businesses and governments around the world. Ubuntu is Open Source software, costs nothing to download, and users are free to customise or alter their software in order to meet their needs.

I successfully installed Servoy in Ubuntu 12.04, see "Servoy Developer System Requirements". I used the option to download PostgreSQL, because I couldn't get it working with the bundled PostgreSQL.

i guess your error has something to do with the eclipse update site that is pre configured.
Its trying to see if there is an update i guess and that lookup somehow goes wrong.
Try to test that subclipse update site url manually through help->install new software or disable the update site in the preferences.
